I have officially stepped over to the Molly Mormon side. Now, I have been teetering back and forth for awhile now, but the other night I jumped to the other side. I made freezer jam! Hurray for me! I didn’t technically “can” anything, but I did have to put pectin in it. Does that count? I am so excited and the best part about it is I have super yummy raspberry jelly that should last me a long time.
*I have to give Lindsay Sue a HUGE shout out for helping me take the leap- You totally Rock Linds!-*

Hi Jessica! You're so CuTe! I went to the Molly sdie this year too... I made Strawberry freezer jam for the first time! It only took 30yrs to do it! :o)
I love to make jam. I fell like I am in touch with my pioneer roots when I am in there stirring all of that fruit and sugar. Plus it is an awesome thing I get to do with my grandma. I wish you guys lived closer! You should come visit!
you have now joined the dark side. i LOVE being Molly Mormon-- always have and always will :D
Mmm! The jam is really good. I made a pb&j sandwich last night with the new raspberry jelly and mmm - mmm - mmm....good!
Molly Mormon? No, Wonder Woman is more like it.
Hilarious! Lot's of my friends are doing the same. I don't have enough counter space:)
HI MOLLY - I MEAN JESSICA!!! It's me, Annette. I love your blog - it's very pretty (like you.) I like your glasses - do you usually wear them? Maybe that's why you had to keep borrowing my eyedrops on our trip? Check out my blog, I posted all the pics from our girls getaway. You're welcome to copy any you don't have! That was so fun, we have to all do something again as soon as it's possible!
Jessica, you crack me up! I didn't know that making freezer jam was being "Miss Molly"...you nut! I think sewing fits in that category and that is something you do well! :) Jam is just soo easy and tastes soo much better it's silly not to make it from scratch! Hope you can enjoy all those containers for the next year now! Way to go, one item on your food storage list marked off! :)
It was fun to see you and your fam last friday at Eagle Island State Park.
This post SOOO sounds like me! It made me laugh! I made strawberry freezer jam for the first time this summer & I know you can't believe it, but I canned peaches last fall with a friend's help! I never thought I would, but I gotta say that homemade jam is so yummy & canned peaches are the only way my kids eat them, so I hope to do that again!
P.S. We do not have a cat. The cat belonged to my friend in UT we visited this summer. And since my daughter LOVES animals, it was a favorite picture of mine to put on the blog.
I'm in the middle of Breaking Dawn - I'm not as die hard as some people and didn't read it the moment it came out, but I do love a good vampire or two!
Love you, girl!
