Kyle finished up his season of soccer today. He did great. This season his coaches taught his team a lot about teamwork and zones. I think they only lost 3 games and Kyle was only playing one of those games. The thing that Kyle learned really well this year is to throw the ball in fast and direct. He is such a great athlete. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father blessed him with this gift.

(One of the things that I learned from my parenting class is to teach our kids that any type of talent is a gift from Heavenly Father and to recognize that. Because when they do that they find their self worth through him and not the world. And hopefully they will not be depending on others for approval and they will use those gifts to help others around them.)

All that aside, I loved watching him grow this season and learn how to play better and be a team player.

Great job Kyle!
Way to go Kyle!
(My Kyle and his brother, Kaden are both going to start soccer in a couple of weeks. I can't wait!)
Hey, I'm glad you found me! I've been wondering about you! We're coming to visit in July - I hope we get to see you!
Thanks for sharing what you learned at the parenting class. I really want to remember that. I've always wanted to know how to help my children feel like their self worth comes from Heavenly Father, so that is a great way to start. Thank you! Also, congrats on the new home. It looks GORGEOUS!!!
