The Ghost

For those of you who know my dear husband, you would also know his love of birds. For the past 5 years our backyards have been turned into bird feeding and breeding grounds. In Arizona we have 6 peach face love birds call our yard home, rock doves getting "busy" on our fence, a mom and dad quail taught their little ones how to fly, and so many other birds that I can't remember. In Star we have finches and red wing black birds, but nothing too exciting. Now up here in Avimor, we have had quail, doves, red wing black birds, finches, humming birds, kestrels, and even a Sharp-shinned Hawk came a stalked our yard for possible food.
But none of this comes close to the dreadful ghost bird! We here them at least 3 times daily, but there is rarely any evidence of them being here. That is until today! Dodo dodo....
I think this last ghost bird lost it's spirit on our window. Sometimes they loose their bodies and Robert has to take them out back and smash them with a rock, but this one surprisingly survived the dreaded window. I am shocked because you can clearly see it's wings were up, the tail feathers were spread, and you can even see it's beak! I looks like it might have been a dove? Maybe? -Robert might know better than I do on that one-

That is a cool picture of the ghost bird!

ewww. Put some stickers on your window so they know it is a window. That is what we were told when a bird cracked our wall size window in Hawaii.
