2010 Adventure #13

We took the kids up Geocaching a couple of week ago. The weather was really nice. The kids loaded up their pockets with little trinkets to trade at each one. If you have never been then let me explain. Geo Caching  is a type of scavenger hunt. You get directions from the Geocaching website and you plug them into your gps. Your GPS takes you to where a container as small as a film canister or as large as a shoe box is. They have little books that you can write you name and date you were there and for the kids they can take a toy and leave a toy.  It is a lot of fun... When you get one with toys. The kids were a little disappointed that we only found 4 that were log in only. Claire kept saying that the Pirates beat us to it (because there was no "treasure"). Oh well, Better luck next time. At least we got a good 2 mile hike out of them.
Kyle started as our leader

After we found our first spot, Kyle was so kind and helped his scared little sis down

Anne's turn to lead us... Kyle and Robert were a little behind because Robert stoped to take a call and Kyle hid to scare him. He scared him really good two times on that trip!

Nothing like a big brother helping out his baby sis

Our last point looking our over Boise.

1 who want to talk about it:

Brittney

Fun! Bailey has been wanting to do this. I think next summer we're gonna give it a try! I love that the kids get excerise without even realizing it!
