I know what you're thinking... What's the theme?
The theme this year was mom was over loaded and only had time to make one outfit, Victoria and Anne were so great and decided that they would create their own outfits and not have me make their princess dresses. And I made this dress for Claire for her 5th birthday, so it was already done. Those who know me well, know I Love Halloween and start making costumes in August, but this year I started Kyle's costume on Monday and finished up yesterday morning. I am so thankful for my kids and their willingness to adapt. Kyle was so great to dress up to be the girls' Prince (even though it ended up just being for Claire) and take them out. He didn't last long because they met up with some neighbor friends and they were all girls, so he ditched them to hang out with one of his guys friends and the girls continued on and got a huge haul of candy.
I've decided that unless we have and/or attend a family party, I will be letting the kids do their own thing. Now that they are older, it is fun to see them create their own costume.
