I have finally caved to pier pressure! Yes, I have now jumped on the band wagon in this huge blogging world. I am lost as to where to begin, but here we go.
Here’s a little up date on our family. Robert is busy working at SunCor. (A homebuilder) They will be having the community’s grand opening on April 12th. If anyone is in the area then come on by because it will be loads of fun. He is an assistant to the executive secretary in our ward which means he schedules the bishopric appointments.
I having been taking care of our babes, walking, scrapbooking, and being a taxi for Anne who is in an extra hour of school. I have also been enjoying my time with the 11 year old girls at church, but just recently got released and called to be the primary secretary. I have never had a secretary job, so this should be fun.
Kyle loves the 1st grade and is in the top of his class. He will start soccer this week and in mid April he will be playing baseball. Kyle turned 7 last month and I have seen quite a few changes. He has taken on the big brother role for his little sisters and he is a great help. Of course the little monster in him comes out every now and then, but not very often.
Anne is in Kindergarten and doing well. They were concerned that her comprehension wasn’t good, but I believe that she is brilliant and that she is getting overwhelmed with pressure of the speed testing they do. Personally, I feel that how fast you can spit out the letters/words doesn’t mean you are learning what is being taught. I am in constant frustration with the districts ideas of how to tell that my children are succeeding in school. She is also in ballet and loves it. She loves to draw. She has so much talent spewing out of her it is crazy.
Toria is a bright little 3 years old. We have her in speech therapy for her articulation. She is adored by her teachers (of course). She loves to hope and skip everywhere she goes. She is big help at home with her little sister.
Claire just turned 1 at the end of last month. She is a lot of fun. She has been walking for 2 months now and has recently found that she can reach into the garbage can. (EWWW) She loves to play peek a boo, unroll all the toilet paper, and our neighbor Crystal who takes her once a week. I think she takes her for a good dose of birth control, but she just says that she loves her.
