Hurray For School!

Can I just tell you how much I love my year round schooling?
Kyle and Anne started back to school today. They are both so excited to have a new teacher and to be in school again. They had a month off for summer break and I think that is plenty of time. The last week of it they were itching to get on with life. The track we are on also gives them the month of December off and also a month for spring break. At first I thought I would hate the schedule, but amazingly enough, I really love it.
Before they left for school this morning Robert gave them a fathers blessing. It was a thing my father did for us before we started school every year and I am so thankful Robert is able to do it for our children.
I find myself thinking during these types of events how grateful I am for the restoration of the gospel and the priesthood. I am overcome with gratitude for Heavenly Father to have blessed me in so many ways. The priesthood holds a strong part in my life and I can think of so many situations where it has helped me be more aware and comforted.
I hope that my children will know that no matter what situation they find themselves in that we will always be here for them as well as Heavenly Father. I hope that they will feel comfortable enough with us that if they need that priesthood blessing that they will come and ask.
