Laughing to the Bank

Robert has been talking to me for months now about wanting to get one of those scooters to drive. I just think ha ha, Robert on one of those little “beep, beep” scooters! Can you imagine. Ha HA, it makes me laugh now just thinking about it.
Well, with gas as it is and his sister is taking drivers ed now so the car that he is borrowing from his dad will soon have to be returned for her. He needed something and it turns out that those little beep beeps aren’t very expensive and boy do you save money on gas! (80mpg) He found one on Craig’s list that was brand new, so I said if that is what he really wanted then to go ahead and get it. He told his boss that he was getting one and he laughed –just like me- and said that Robert’s new nick name is going to be scooter. It is ok, he says, because he will be laughing all the way to the bank when it saves us tons each month.
-When he returns the car we will get him a little pick up for bad weather, no worries. The only down poor he will be caught in is of bugs.-

6 who want to talk about it:

Katie

That is great. I'm sure you will save tons on gas. you guys are not far from his work right?

Kristy

Trevor has one of those and I told Travis her should ride it to work. That is so funny! Oh and 456 is something Clay says it means I love You. He types those numbers on his cell phone to enter I love you. It has become kind of a thing with us.

Sarah

i know so many people who have done this very same thing in the last few months. my husband has been pulling the motorcylce card--my response is--no health insurance and no life insurance--no way jose! our "work" vehicle is a Suburban--unless he absolutey has to use it to haul something he drives our corrolla. We are definitely living in a "gas" concious world. :D

That picture reminded me of the guy on The Wedding Planner!! Glad you don't have Mossimo's personality. Too funny but very smart. Can't wait to read Carl's comment about it though.

Kim Davis

The helmet and goggles make the outfit complete! I love it. I am excited that Ann and McKayla will be in the same class. With her changing schools and all it will be nice for her to have a few familiar faces around. See you next Tuesday at the Meet and Greet.

Mrs. Morty

Big Morty wants one too. They could be twinners :)
