This past Christmas the kids got the movie Up and with it was our very own adventure book. We are so excited to start putting our year of adventures into it and it started last Monday.
We headed towards Cascade to a fun hot springs, but on the bridge going into Horseshoe Bend we saw a Bald Eagle right next to the road. (this was the drive bye picture) We also saw a few more on the other side of the town, but they were a little further out. 
The roads were great and we got there with an hour to spare, so Robert got out to look for some birds, Kyle got out to play in the snow, the kids hunkered down and teased Kyle from safely inside the car, and I cracked open a book.
The water was lovely and we all had a great time "chillaxing" and playing in the water.
