If I had the camera ready...

I would have taken a picture of Victoria and Claire yesterday. They were playing house and they flipped one of my rocking chairs over and were sitting on the back. This was their car and they were going for a "long drive" While doing my own thing I heard them saying, "Kids, be quiet your dad and I are talking," and "Kids I said be quiet! No talking and watch your movie. I am listening to my music!"

Can you tell what goes on in my car?

I realized two weeks ago that letting the kids watch movies all the time in the car wasn't a good thing not only were they being thrown into a zombie state, fighting, and watching things that wouldn't uplift them, but they were missing so much of the beauty God has created for us, so I made a declaration that the tv is only for long trips. Which may or may not include trips to their Grandmas' houses. This statement concerning the new method in our transportation was followed with lots of whines and arguing, but it has finally settled down and they have bowed down in submission.

I have finally broken them! Moowahahahaha! The mean mom still reins in this family!
