Anne's Birthday/Baptism

This year was a very special year for our little Anne. She turned 8 in July which means see got a friend party and she was baptized.

We had her friend party on the very last day of school so that her friends could ride the bus home with her and we thought that most families would be traveling in July. She had a great time with her friends. I have never seen her so animated. We had a water slide, pinata, painting, pizza, and cupcakes. I think the girls enjoyed making their own little art pieces the best. We gave them towels with their initial on it which all the girls thought was so cool. (thanks Brittney for the idea)(I forgot to take pictures of the entire event! Can you believe that!)

The day before Anne's birthday some great friends in our ward brought up their horses for Anne to ride. The Rogers were so kind to do that and they know how much Anne loves horses. She asks them all the time to ride them. We just have to find the time to go over. (she calls Brandon Grandpa Rogers because he is a brand new grandpa)

On her birthday we had our cousins over for more water slide fun and cupcakes.

Anne's Baptism was on July 31st and it was a beautiful day.

 She had lots of family and friends come and watch her baptism. The stake baptism was on a weekend that wouldn't work for our family so we held our own and I was really sad not to do with her friends, but the spirit was so strong that I think I want to a private one for the other two.
