After our first day back to school we decided to do something fun with the kids. Our good friends and neighbors the Novak's offered to take us out to Willard bay to go boating. At 4:30 we loading up our dinner and kiddos and headed out.
We all had so much fun boating and playing in the super warm water. It was seriously bathtub warm. All the kids, except Claire, were brave enough to get onto the tube for a little ride. Anne and Victoria were the only ones to sit too far up and when the boat took off they went submarine style. Once they got the hang of it they had a great time. Kyle and I went on a medium ride level (thanks Jeff) and Robert went full speed and lost his shorts. (not to fear, they were just barely hanging on to his ankles)
The evening was beautiful, food and company were great too. Thanks so much Novak's for a great time.

*side note* Robert is in Ohio at a birding festival. He was invited as their official blogger. Already this morning he has added 7 new life birds and is hoping to reach 400 before he comes home on Sunday. We miss him oh so much, but are so glad he has this opportunity to do what he loves and is having fun. To read about his trip see
