Robert has been busy with birding lately. He was asked by the ABA (American Birding Association) to join their team to head up the BOY committee (bird of the year). He is really excited about that. Check out their official announcement

Also, I had a funny conversation with a friend of mine about his birding hobby (if you can even call it that... It is more like an obsession) Anyway, she said that it seems like a cover up hobby. We joked about it being his mistress. He wrote a funny post about it a couple days ago. Go

*Side note- Generally I am more than happy to let him go and do when it comes to his birding, but just like any spouse, there are those moments when I get a little jealous of him paying attention to other things instead of me. Admit it, you or your spouse have been there too. We all have to remind ourselves to balance our lives for those we love.

I thought of him when we were in Corpus Christi last weekend. There is a national park in the area that is known for its bird watching. We did see tons of birds just while we were there. It is a very "interesting" hobby :D
