As I went out to take pictures of them this morning I saw some birds investigating them. Once the saw me they flew to another tree to watch, but I think they will be back and snack on our little offerings.

Bird Seed Ornaments
This was another project we did for our advent calendar. I can't find the original blog tutorial that I used to get the directions, but this and this are the same recipe.
They all turned out great and were super easy to make. In the tutorial it says to use a dowel for the hole, but I used straws and that worked great.
As I went out to take pictures of them this morning I saw some birds investigating them. Once the saw me they flew to another tree to watch, but I think they will be back and snack on our little offerings.
