Mirror Mirror on the wall

Remember my D.I. Mirror find?

 She went through a refashioning process. I had to tape her up first to cover her mirror and then the fun began

 A friend of mine let me use her white paint and I ended up giving her 3 good coats of it before all that gold was covered

 I liked the green that was originally on her, so I used my green to add it back. It is a different green, but I have used it on a few different projects so it was better to have it match. That was another 3 coats

 Then I found a tutorial online that showed me how to stain it. This was the scariest part for me because I have stained things before, but not like this.

 After the stain dried, I sealed it with a high gloss spray.

Fun stuff. I can hardly wait to hang it. If only I could paint these plain white walls so that my little beauty would pop! Some Day my dream will come true!
