Fast forward to being married with kids and we have found that all of our kids love to play games. Right now they are just playing the "non thinking" games, but are slowly being able to hold their own with "thinking" games. If you come to our home for dinner or just to hang out then you will most likely here the kids asking to bust out a few of their favorites... Uno, Apples to Apples, Boxer or Briefs, Spoons, etc. Through out the years of being married, we have found a few couples that also enjoy a good round of Phaze10, Rook, Poker, Sequence which has been so great. It is even better when they see that my kids gravitate to the table and let them play too.
Some friends of ours bought the kids a new game called Zingo. It is kind of like bingo and a lot of fun.
While Robert and I were having one of those "we are so exhausted and it is only 5:30" nights, the kids were left up to their own devices. Usually it is watching a show or fighting, but not this night! I don't know which one suggested it, but bless that child! We walked out of our room to find the kids sprawled out on the floor laughing and screaming (for numbers). They played that game for over an hour! So I thought I would put a shout out for Zingo and also say thank you to the Novaks for a fun game that ALL my kids (Robert and I too) love to play.

1 who want to talk about it:
"Bless that child." Hahaha. :) Nice! Glad they all get along playing games and don't fight while trying to "play" games.
