Anne's friend, Kelly, had a birthday party yesterday and she is a girly girl. Anne and I went to Target to get her a little toy and then to the fabric store to pick out some fun fabrics to make her a twirly skirt. With Kelly being the girly girl that she is, I couldn't just leave it as a twirly skirt so I added a little to it.

It took a little bit of brain power to figure out how to put it together, but with a few minor unpicking sessions, I got it figured out. Now that I now how I need to assemble it, I think I will try to make a few more.
I also made an adorable feather headband to go with it. I used some leftover chiffon to make the rosettes and leftover feathers/gem from my craft stash.

I hope she likes her gift. It was fun to make and create!
