Sealings

After Victoria's birthday party and before we moved we were invited to two really great events. My sister Melissa and her family were sealed in the Draper Temple on the 14th of June and then 2 weeks later on the 23rd, my dear Friend Crystal Weston and her husband and daughter were sealed in the Bountiful Temple.
Both were different and beautiful.
 Melissa and Nick celebrated their 12th Anniversary by being sealing together and with their 3 kiddos.

The Vance Family

Along with Robert and I, my parents, Sara and Mike, Aunt Dawna/Uncle Leonard came. Nick's brothers and their wives came as well. And his mom met up with us outside afterwards. Their bishop and a few friends from their ward were also present. We enjoyed a BBQ at their home that evening. It was a beautiful (and Hot) day!
You might remember THIS post last year about Ron and Crystal and their daughter Cristan. Back in March Crystal called me up to see if June 23rd was open for us because that was the day they chose to be sealed! I was so excited. The Boise temple was closed for renovations so they chose to come to the Bountiful Temple to be close to us. (we would have gone to Europe if that is where they chose to be sealed, but were so thrilled we didn't have to)

Crystal asked if I would be her escort and I felt so honored. It was a great experience for me. When Cristan was being sealed to them, she broke down crying. The spirit she felt so so strong and we all could feel how happy she was to be with them for eternity.

It too was a beautiful (and windy) day for the Weston Family. Along with Robert and I, they had Ron's cousin who is the only other member in his family (from CA), and our mutual friends the Larsen's come for this great event.

Ron and Crystal were so great. They brought down a trailer, left Cristan with me, and then loaded up their truck and trailer of our boxes to take with them. We moved the following Saturday and Cristan was a HUGE help for me that week! I couldn't thank them all enough for the love that they show us.
