Easter 2013
Rebecca and I had so much fun this week!
When my Grandma passed away a few years ago, I got a lot of old sheets and fabric and patterns, so last month I had Claire pick out some fabric that she liked and it ended up being a huge king size sheet. I matched it with the pink check and made her a vintage looking dress with a boat neck. It was so cute and I had enough left over that I went ahead and made Anne and Victoria skirts to match and 2 bow ties for my boys! After the skirts were finished I thought it would be so fun to do a little vintage inspired photo shoot for Easter. I gave Rebecca a call and she was excited to do it with me. It was fun hunting down and making props.

In preparation for sharing time, I have been thinking a lot about why we celebrate Easter. It is such a beautiful time of year. The trees are beginning to bloom, baby animals are being born, birds are chirping, and the days are getting warmer. I love and am so thankful to Jesus Christ for the love and sacrifice he gave for me. That his death and resurrection was a huge gift so that through him and repentance, I can return back to my Father. Last years Easter message from the first presidency was so great.
