A few weeks ago Robert had a great opportunity to go to North Carolina on an all expense paid birding trip. He had a fabulous time and met some great people. While he was there, he talked to the marketing people about where he lives and they told him that another client of theirs was
Firehouse Subs and that he should go and try them out. Our next date night we did just that and I have to say these sandwiches are by far the best ones compared to their competitors. If you have never been, you need to stop everything and go now... It is that good!
So to try and make a long story short, he emailed the marketing company and said he loved the sandwiches and they talked with Firehouse Subs about doing a little thing with his blog. They invited our little family to come and eat there, and give him a bucket to encourage birders to buy for their use.
The day finally came for us to go and I was salivating the entire day waiting for it to be dinner time. We met with the owner, Randy, and he set us up with some subs and then brought out a few more for us to sample. They were all so yummy! Randy was so great with our kids and talked with us about their purpose as a company. He also gave us a few of their pickle buckets. I was very impressed to know that they are all about giving back and helping the firefighters with much needed equipment. Robert wrote a great post about them so,
